Dna of Light

Inspired by Sabancı's deep-rooted legacy, Waxy designed and delivered the DNA lighting installation for Otağ, the central gathering space of Sabancı Center. Drawing inspiration from DNA's role as a carrier of memory and combining it with the visual language of pixels, the installation creates a light experience that is both organic and digital.

As a defining feature of Levent's skyline, Sabancı Center underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2022 to introduce a contemporary architectural identity while preserving its corporate heritage. Developed in close collaboration with Arup's lighting engineering team, the installation serves as the focal point of the renewed atrium, transforming Otağ into a symbolic place of connection where architecture, technology, and light converge.
