About the Project

Water Flow traces a continuous path through the lobby, wrapping around the columns and extending across the space. Composed of hundreds of suspended elements, the installation creates a sense of movement that changes from every viewpoint.

Intercontinental Hotel Taksim has designed a lighting installation in the lobby to symbolize the flow of water. This dynamic lighting installation incorporates animated lighting effects, creating a captivating representa- tion of fluidity. Each glass component is meticulously handcrafted, with the form of the glass designed to complement the graceful movement of the installation. This visionary project, proudly brought to life by the esteemed founder of Designist, Aslı Arıkan Dayıoglu, aims to redefine visual experiences. Focusing on the interaction of light and form, it vividly and impressively captures the essence of fluidity. As visitors interact with this extraordinary installation, they symbolize the rhythmic and continuous movement of water as it flows.
