Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha Mosque, located in Levent, Istanbul, is a modern place of worship completed in 2023. Designed by Kavis Yapı Mimarlık, the mosque’s decorative lighting installation was provided by Bahar Aydınlatma, featuring modern solutions. The mosque has a capacity of 20,000 worshippers and boasts a main dome that is 44 meters high. The architecture prominently features nautical themes, with the mihrab crafted from 80,000 ceramic tiles and other areas adorned with maritime motifs. The mosque is designed to be earthquake-resistant and includes a parking facility for 900 vehicles.
